Booking Information
To book your stay at the West Kunderang Recreational Retreat, please contact us by email or phone via Contact Us.
We’ll advise availability and help you choose your preferred dates, then email you the booking details.
Confirm your booking:
- Complete the Registration Form — one form per vehicle, listing all occupants.
- Email the completed form back to us.
- Pay by direct deposit using the bank details provided.
Camping rates:
- Adults: $20 per person per night
- School-aged children: $10 per person per night
- Vehicle fee: $30 per vehicle, one-off road maintenance fee/visit
Day Visitor rates:
- Adults: $10 per person per night
- School-aged children: $5 per person per night
- Vehicle fee: $30 per vehicle, one-off road maintenance fee/visit
If you are booking as a group of family or friends sharing a campsite, we’ll confirm the total number of guests and vehicles with you and arrange any additional registration forms & payments required.
Your reservation will be confirmed by email once the required payment has been received.
Before you arrive:
We’ll give you a call the evening before your arrival to:
- Provide your gate access code
- Update you on road/weather conditions
- Confirm your estimated arrival time
Important:
- Bookings are essential as access is through a locked gate
- Please register by clicking on Contact Us
- Access through the locked gate is available after 12 noon
- It takes approx. 1.5 hours from Armidale
- This timing ensures campers leaving have cleared the area by midday
- 4WD access only

Checkin Time: Any time after 12 noon on day of arrival
No entry after 8pm unless by written prior arrangement
Checkout Time: Any time on day of departure, before 11.00am.
Please note as per our terms and conditions West Kunderang may at any time whatsoever refuse entry to the Property by any Customers, or require any Customers already in attendance to leave the Property immediately. We have zero tolerance for anyone that demonstrates unacceptable behavior, or for anyone who would cause a disturbance.
