Sliprails Campsite

This is a large level, grassy site with white cedar trees dotted around the edges providing shade & will fit 6 vehicles with camp set ups comfortably, 8-10 at a squeeze. There is lots of room for playing outdoor games at this site & as it is a little more removed from the river it is ideal for those not wanting small children to access the water unattended. There is no access directly from this campsite to the river – access is back at the 1st river crossing approx: 650m away. The start of the Fig Tree Walk is from the northern edge of this campsite.
